When checking in I was placed in a room on the 3rd floor. Immediately on entering the room I was hit with a strong smell of smoke. I called the front desk thinking they put me next to a smoking room but was told the whole hotel was non-smoking. He then stated the 3rd floor used to be a smoking floor back in 2016. I asked to be moved since I am sensitive to smoke and was going to be there 4 days. He was very nice and quickly moved me. I just feel this hotel should do something about the lingering smoke smell. It is unhealthy to breathe that. If they can't get the smell out they should do a complete rehab. It is an inconvenience to have to change rooms. The bed in the room I am in could be a little softer, but some people prefer a hard bed. The breakfast area has been well stocked and everyone I have encountered has been pleasant.
RATS!!! We were visited by 3 rats in our hotel room along with at least 2 more rats running through the halls. One rat/mouse even ended up in my purse. After our horrible night management still refused to refund us for the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if it was the last place on earth.
I have nothing negative to report about this location. I actually was able to get a good nights rest here. Not my first choice for a hotel. The room was clean bed was comfortable. I would stay here again...
Good, clean and quiet stay in Tuscumbia. Very reasonable rates with good breakfast with eggs and sausage- Great protein for day.
It was really nice even while under construction. The workers where extremely nice.
